Description
In the garden of his house at Argenteuil, Monet painted his wife Camille among the flowerbeds, a bright figure set within a haze of blossom and summer green. The dappled light falls across the path and the beds, dissolving edges and drawing figure and garden into one luminous whole. Tender and unguarded, it is both a portrait of a beloved companion and a hymn to the domestic paradise the couple made in the 1870s.
Our version is hand-painted in oils to order by a trained studio artist, worked in soft layers on artist-grade cotton canvas to echo Monet’s brushwork and light. Select your size and framing on this page; each commission is made just for you and ships free worldwide.
