Description
Monet returned to the Parc Monceau in 1878, again finding in this Parisian garden a pocket of light and foliage within the modern city. Tall trees rise in soft masses of green, strollers move along the sunlit lawns, and the whole scene flickers with the warmth of a fine day. The touch is quick and open, the colour fresh, capturing the ease of city dwellers at leisure among the leaves and shadows of the park.
Our version is hand-painted in oils to order by a trained studio artist, worked in layers on artist-grade cotton canvas to echo Monet’s dappled brushwork and colour. Select your size and framing on this page; each commission is made just for you and ships free worldwide.
