Monet at Tel Aviv Museum of Art

The Tel Aviv Museum of Art opened in 1932 in the home of Meir Dizengoff, the city’s first mayor. The museum later moved into purpose-built premises and expanded its galleries. Its institutional history explains those changes and the collections that developed with them.

Flowering trees, grainstacks and water

The references below place quite different subjects beside one another. The apple trees have bright pink blossom and green ground; the grainstack forms a compact ochre mass. The Pond at Montgeron is darker, with trees enclosing the reflections. The water-lily entries give closer views of water and vegetation. The blossom, grainstack and shaded pond make three useful colour comparisons within the selection.

Collection association and ownership also need to be distinguished. The museum’s Impressionism exhibition record identifies The Water Lily Pond (1919) as a long-term loan from the Moshe and Sara Mayer Collection. For reproduction choices, open the individual product page and compare its reference, original dimensions and available options. Hand-painted oil paintings are our primary offer; canvas prints are also available. The wider Monet collection includes further subjects.

6 Monet works from Tel Aviv Museum of Art

Compare the flowering orchard's pink and green with the grainstack's ochre and the darker pond view. The water-lily entries include different views of the motif. Check the particular reference, original dimensions and available sizes on each product page before choosing.
